Skills Commentary

Session 5 team 3 slide show

In this session,I focused on working with my team to get the scenes we wanted to record. Before recording I talked with my team to understand where to be and what angle to film at.

POST-PRODUCTION – REFLECTION

21st Century Skills

Ways of Working (Communication & Collaboration)

Our team had team members fall ill, to counteract this we used tools online like calling and texting to better organize our progress. Our team in person was not well organized due to disagreements and lack of direction.

Tools for Working (Info & Media Literacy)

We utilized the dim camera setting to better immerse the audience into the horror themed film. Along with this we also used our phones and lights to make the audience feel a certain mood throughout the film.

Ways of Living in the World (Life & Career)

From this session I’ve learned how to better communicate with people (still working on it), and realizing that scheduling is very important to a film’s success. Of course this skill will come with time, but putting yourself in peoples shoes helps with understanding a situation and better adapting to it.

Reactions to the Final Version

Our film’s reactions were generally good with positive feedback. However, because of dimmed cameras in a dark environment and no musical background the audience weren’t able to feel emotions we wanted to be conveyed but even if there was a soundtrack no one could see the film.

Self-Evaluation of Final Version

I believe that our film could have been better with more communication through team members. our team could have also focused more on our film then helping with other films.
